Once upon a time...
(August 1991)we had a son...Nick
We thought about using cigars, generic" It's a Boy" candy, printed birth announcements to celebrate his birth. Being hungry and tired after a long day at the hospital, I got a Snicker bar out of the machine. I looked at the candy bar and thought "Nickers Bar" since our son was Nick. Being a Graphic Designer, ideas started to flow, Instead of net weight of the candy bar, I could put his birth weight on it and stats of his birth. I went home and designed a wrapper with Nicks name, weight, length, hospital,etc.
My wife
was a little upset that I was late getting back to the hospital, I told her that I was at home making candy bars.I showed her the "NICHOLAS BARS" and she was happy. We passed them out to the nurses, doctors, friends and family.
Everyone loved them.
