Moosie Beginnings

Once upon a time...

(August 1991) we had a son...Nick We thought about using cigars, generic" It's a Boy" candy, printed birth announcements to celebrate his birth. Being hungry and tired after a long day at the hospital, I got a Snicker bar out of the machine. I looked at the candy bar and thought "Nickers Bar" since our son was Nick. Being a Graphic Designer, ideas started to flow, Instead of net weight of the candy bar, I could put his birth weight on it and stats of his birth. I went home and designed a wrapper with Nicks name, weight, length, hospital, etc.

My wife was a little upset that I was late getting back to the hospital, I told her that I was at home making candy bars. I showed her the "NICHOLAS BARS" and she was happy. We passed them out to the nurses, doctors, friends and family.

Everyone loved them. Moosie Wrapper was born and we have been making people happy with their personalized bars to announce all kinds of special occasions: Weddings, Births, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Business Promotions, Employee Incentives, Graduations, Birthdays, Retirement Parties, Bachelor Parties, and all types of occasions!
